Brief Introduction

Prof Usha K Aravind joined the School of Environmental Studies in 2019. She worked earlier at the Advanced Centre of Environmental Studies and Sustainable Development (ACESSD)-Inter University Centre of M.G. University. She specializes in green technology, especially in the development of surface functionalised polymer membranes for water purification, low-pressure filtrations, water treatment, Screening of water and air pollutants, remediation with membranes and Advanced Oxidation Processes (for the degradation of organic pollutants), and the Interaction of contaminants with biomacromoleucles. She holds 23+ years of experience in teaching/research Analytical Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry, Water-Air-Soil Chemistry, etc.
