On September 24 and 25, 2024, the School of Environmental Studies at Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) hosted a highly insightful workshop titled "Python Essentials: Foundations of Programming, Data Structure, and Analysis." Mr. Anandu P, a distinguished Prime Minister’s Research Fellow from the Center of Excellence in Disaster Mitigation & Management at IIT Roorkee, led the two-day event.
This intensive workshop provided participants with a comprehensive introduction to Python programming, emphasizing core principles of programming, data structures, and analytical techniques. Designed for students, researchers, and professionals keen to build foundational programming skills, the course explored Python's versatile applications in data handling, algorithm design, and problem-solving in environmental studies.
