Celebrating World Environment Day at School of Environmental Studies

On June 5th, 2024, the School of Environmental Studies at Cochin University of Science and Technology hosted a memorable event in honor of World Environment Day. The theme for this year was "Restoring Ecosystems for a Resilient Future."

Dr. K Jayachandran, Director (Technical), The Fertilizers And Chemicals Travancore Limited: on "Green Hydrogen Economy."

Prof. S. Jayakumar, Department of Ecology and Environmental Sciences, Pondicherry University: on "Impacts of climate change on forests."

Contests held:

E-Poster Contest: Theme - "Plastic-Free Future: Restoring Ecosystem's Health."
