The SPARK Sponsored Symposium on Air Pollution and Human Health: Emerging Challenges is being organized by the School of Environmental Studies, Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT). The symposium is led by a distinguished team of academicians with extensive expertise in air quality, environmental chemistry, and health impact assessment.
The event is coordinated by Prof. Usha K. Aravind (CUSAT, India), Prof. Talha Joo (POSTECH, South Korea), Prof. C. T. Aravindakumar (Mahatma Gandhi University, India), Prof. Kyung Hwan Kim (POSTECH, South Korea), and Prof. Suja Haridas (CUSAT, India). Their collective leadership reflects strong national and international collaboration, aligning with the objectives of the SPARK programme to promote global academic engagement and research excellence.
The symposium aims to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and collaborative research on emerging challenges at the interface of air pollution and human health.

Abstracts are invited from students, researchers, and academicians to present their work related to the theme of the symposium, “Air Pollution and Human Health: Emerging Challenges.”
Interested participants are requested to submit the soft copy of the abstract in MS Word format as an attachment through the Google registration form. Delegates who wish to attend the symposium without presenting an abstract are also welcome to participate.
